From start to finish, our experience with Nafika Tours was nothing short of exceptional.
Elias, our point of contact before the trip, was incredibly helpful and professional. He patiently answered every single question—no matter how small—and ensured we felt confident and fully prepared. As first-time trekkers, this made a huge difference for us.
On the mountain, we were fortunate to be guided by Emanuel and Albert, who were absolutely phenomenal. Their priority was always our safety and comfort. Whether it was providing reassurance, offering assistance with our bags, or simply checking in on how we were doing—they were attentive, kind, and deeply experienced.
One of the biggest surprises was the quality of the food. I was initially a bit worried, but those concerns quickly vanished thanks to Jonathon, our incredibly talented cook. Every meal was delicious—restaurant-quality at high altitude! It’s no exaggeration to say he’s a culinary wizard.
Noel, our waiter, added such a personal touch to the experience. Each morning, he greeted us within minutes of waking up with a fresh cup of tea or coffee—a small gesture that meant so much.
Special mention to our summit porters Sulupis and Jumanne for their incredible support during summit night, and to the rest of our porter team—Brayson, Erick, Cuthbert, Adam, Amimiel, Simon, Driving, and Jamri—who carried our gear, set up camp, and never stopped smiling or encouraging us along the way.
The entire Nafika team made our journey unforgettable. Their professionalism, passion, and positivity were evident at every step. If you're considering a trek in Tanzania, I cannot recommend Nafika Tours enough. They go above and beyond—and if I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!
