Still amazing, but more expensive this year.
Filippi Archaeological Site的点评
点评:A beautiful site, but prices have increased! We visited here 4 years ago and found it great value: the amazing ruins in a beautiful natural setting with fascinating history and a nice museum. In 2026, it's still beautiful and worth a visit but a lot more expensive. I paid €10 to get in and my husband got a discount of €5 for being an EU citizen over 65. The mosaic outside looked dusty this time but they now have QR codes in places: scan these to get thd audio tour. A great way to present information without ruining the aesthetician with huge signage. My bug bear, however, is that the museum is no longer included in the entrance; it's another €10 each, they told us, so we didn't bother. Neither did anyone else, by the look of it. A disappointment, as the museum is really nice, with some impressive statues etc. Before the entrance to the site is a park- like area with a very reasonably-priced cafe, outdoor seating and a small shop. There are also toilets and a tennis court. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with mobility issues or anyone on a tight budget, but it is a brilliant trip if you love ancient history and don't mind walking on rough ground.
