点评:We enjoyed our visit to Isla Iguana. We did not plan ahead, and just drove to the harbor, expecting to find a local to take us over in his boat. First of all, it is important to know that you need to bring your passport, because this is an official port, and the officials insist on seeing your passport. It is okay to have a photo of your passport on your phone or a printed copy of your passport, but you do need to have something official. We provided this and then paid a local man to drive us over who then waited for us in his boat for the three hours we were there. There is an offically posted price of $80, but he offered $70. We ended up paying him $90 with a generous tip, and he was quite pleased. It was pretty choppy and rough on the way over because of the wind, but smooth on the way back. The island should really be called Isla de Frigate Birds because there are thousands of them nesting there, but we only saw a few iguanas. We were happy that it was uncrowded and that there was plenty of shade. We brought our snorkeling gear along. There were some nice fish like parrot fish, pufferfish, and a few others, but the coral was mostly dead. I'd say it was mediocre for snorkeling, but I still enjoyed it. The beach was beautiful, the water clean and warm, and the other people were mostly Panamanians. We had a great day.
