Johnson Beach的点评
点评：I know Pensacola Beach is the go to beach for just about everyone who visits Pensacola, and for good reason, it's perfect for hanging out and do some people watching, plenty of bars, restaurants, gift shops, large parking lot, etc. But I feel that Johnson Beach deserves some love as well.
Johnson Beach is quite the opposite of Pensacola Beach, there are some restaurants in the area, but it's not as walkable as Pensacola Beach. It's got white sands, clear water, a nearby trail, and large gazebos. This Beach is fantastic! Perfect for walking or going on a job.
Johnson Beach is ideal for those looking for a more relax atmosphere, maybe do a little fishing, or celebrating a special occasion. I personally enjoy it a little more than Pensacola Beach, I love coming here to do a light jog, and sometimes just to be a beach bum.
You pay a fee to park, I like getting the annual pass for $45, I feel it's well worth it. They also offer free public parking a few blocks before you hit the main entrance. It's not as big as the main lot just get there early enough and you'll have more luck finding a parking spot. Orange Beach is just further down the road from Johnson Beach if you want to try something different. Johnson Beach is one of my favorite Beaches, It's truly a hidden gem in Pensacola.
