点评:Stunning beauty, interesting story and tasty souvenier at the end of a beautiful drive from Washougal via Battleground and a quick trip back via205. We wanted to show the mill to our out of town guest. The caretaker happened to be there and opened the building and gave us the opportunity to see the milling machinery run by the river and go home with some flour and recipes. They are normally open on saturdays and will show how they grind flour and even custom grind grain that visitors bring. What I am most excited for is the monthly Saturdays starting in May where they mill, cook, and eat! They hook up a cider press in the fall and you can taste and come home with fresh cider too.
Even on days it isn't open there are picnic tables along the river. Restrooms up some stairs. There is even a covered bridge right next to it to add to the beauty. It was well worth the drive and we will be back!

即使在不开放的日子里,河边也有野餐桌。洗手间在一些楼梯上。旁边甚至还有一座廊桥,增添了美丽。开车过来是非常值得的,我们会回来的!
