点评：This was a small group bus tour of about 24 people. Our tour included a box lunch. The tour leaves the center and travels a short distance to the Allerton and McBryde Gardens. Our guide was informative of all of the plants and also the history of the area. Many movie scenes were filmed here and it basically looks like what you would expect the Garden of Eden to have appeared. Self guided tours are no longer allowed due to damage done by visitors. If you have an interest in gardening, this should be on your to-do list. Even though it is a bus tour there is about 1 1/2 miles of walking. The pathways are fairly smooth and they are covered with volcanic rock. They did require closed toe shoes or sandals with heel straps. I think this is more of a liability issue that a real need for more rugged footwear. The inclines were gentle and there was no strenuous activity.
