点评：On an impulse my wife, my mother in law and I paid a visit to Galeri Harlech one afternoon. The reason for the visit was to look at the many interesting books which they sell, but what we got was so much more. There were many interesting and wonderful works of art on display and for sale on the walls. These were a collection of different works in many different styles. But it was downstairs in their underground gallery where the real magic was. The gallery is situated in what looks like an old kitchen area complete with brick chimney and aga. This rustic setting seems one unlikely for a gallery, but in my opinion it works really well with the artwork varied and interesting.
We all had a very nice chat with the curator of this shop/gallery and she showed us some works of art which she had produced using chocolate bar wrappers. She even told us a little story which went with the works of art. The pieces were brilliant as was the story which she told us. She was an incredibly friendly person with a great sense of humour.
This shop/gallery is a wonderfully interesting and amazing place to visit whilst in Harlech. It's a treasure trove of fascinating delights that will satisfy all artistic tastes. Highly recommended.
