Breathtaking cave experience

点评：We booked this tour through our cruise ship - something we don’t normally do. It was marked as strenuous, so as I was nursing a bad knee I reached out to the operator to see if I would be able to handle it. Their response was quick and helpful and made me feel confident I could handle the hike
It’s about a 90 minute drive from San Juan in a comfortable air conditioned bus.
Once there we received an orientation and began our journey. The walk itself isn’t long - about 3/4 of a mile round tip. But it is a bit hilly and there are some steep stairs in and out of the caves. There are sturdy handrails to assist and the guides are there to help as well
We visited 2 caves, were given hardhats and flashlights and strict instructions on where to shine them so we didn’t disturb the bats.
It was an awesome adventure. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and loved answering questions.
