点评：Fowey Valley was new to me and, unlike other sleepy cidery/distillery/brewery experiences I’ve done before, I was pleasantly surprised!
We called last minute on a Wednesday at 10am for a 10:30 tour start and were greeted by Nathan - 1 of 4 Fowey Valley employees - who talked us through their process for making cider as well as how they distill their spirits. Informative and funny, it is clear how passionate the team are about their products.
Rounded off with generous tastings of their sparkling antique cider, Castledore cider, brandy, gin, rum and more by request in their tasting room and shop (pictured). Lovely touch offering 10% discount in the shop for having done the tour.
A great experience and all FREE. Cannot recommend highly enough if you’re in the area, or even not, at is worth the journey.
