Loch Glass Pink House的点评
点评：I was looking forward to seeing the pink house on the NC500 and was incredibly underwhelmed.
I arrived at big white gates across the road as stated by other reviewers. There’s a car park of sorts immediately next to this gate and a track you can follow.
I made the pivotal error of driving down said track instead of parking and walking down (this would probably take 1hr / 1.5hrs at least to walk). I have a big SUV and my suspension is cursing me for what I put my car through driving down there - granted this was my error, Turning places are few and far in between so if you do decide to drive it, you have to commit.
It took about 15 minutes at 10mph down effectively a farm track to get to see the pink house even in the distance. You then come across signs stating that you are not allowed to go any further. Unless you have a professional camera, prepare to be underwhelmed with a grainy photo.
It was nice to look at from across the loch but for the 50 minute drive from Inverness for a bit of off-roading and a 2 minute photo stop, I’d take a photo off the internet and give this one a miss!
