Beautiful Uganda – Chimps, Gorillas, Tree Lions (Last Minute!), a Shoebill and a Pangolin – What More Could You Ask For?

点评：We chose Bugoli based on a recommendation and a gut feeling — and we didn’t regret it for a second. This is a solid, well-run company, with super professional and responsible handling from the first contact (with Michael), through the itinerary planning, and most importantly — the trip itself.
The itinerary they built for us was great, and the lodges Michael recommended were excellent — beautiful places in amazing locations.
We asked for a guide with broad knowledge — nature, birds, local culture, and more — and that’s exactly what we got with Matiya.
Uganda is stunning! Experiencing it with such a professional guide made it all the more incredible.
Matiya is super knowledgeable, calm, friendly, and also a great driver. He totally got what we were looking for (even the hidden wishes — like seeing a pangolin!) and was flexible when we wanted to slightly change plans or take little detours, all without affecting the overall flow of the trip.
At one point, he even pulled out a professional camera and turned out to be an amazing wildlife photographer. Thanks to him, we got to see — at the very last minute — exactly what we were hoping for: a pair of lions on a tree!
Before the trip, a family situation threw a wrench into our plans, and not all of us were able to make it. The support we received from Michael was heartwarming, as was his integrity in financial matters.
