点评:Worst water park I have ever been to. Loads of changing rooms, not a bench in any of them to sit on. Lockers were tiny. Nowhere to change a baby. Staff pointed to the toilet and expected us to change the baby on the lid. Toilet roll is one large roll outside of the toilet cubicles in the sink area, make sure you take some before you go in, or you can run the gauntlet of the bum-gun and take your chances on how clean it is
All the children's slides/pools were closed off. Large wave pool closed too. Staff repeatedly moved us in an effort to contain us all in one small area, next to the restaurant, (including when my daughter was trying to feed the baby) where one pool with slides was open. This pool had masses of water cannons and sprays conveniently placed to hit children square in the face every time they approached the slides. No good for a child who doesnt like water jets in the face. The slides in this pool were also fairly high up, with lots of steps. Not really great for smaller children or those with disabilities/limited mobility.
We asked why the children couldn't go in the huge children's pool with lots of smaller slides, but were told no, its closed. No reason given.
All kiosks were shut, staff directed us to the restaurant to buy bottles of water. Restaurant staff pulled faces when I declined food.
No way of getting around the waterpark if you have a pram or mobility issues, as all areas involve crossing bridges with multiple steps up and down. One or two of the staff are more helpful and will carry pushchairs over for you.
Opening time advertised as 9am. We arrived at 10am to find most of the staff still turning up, and the general feeling of low-key panic that they actually had visitors.
Lazy river was quite good, but some of the vests had seen better days, and the donuts are too big for children. We ended up towing my disabled eleven year old son around so he didnt fall off/through.
Take some flip-flop style footwear, as the ground is red-hot concrete and beware entering pool as the tiled floor is extremely slippy.
All in all, for a family centred attraction, they really ought to put more thought into the needs of families; particularly access, basic facilities and availability of attractions.
We paid a large amount of money for a two hour round trip in a taxi and a turn on the lazy river. Totally not worth it.
