Hidden gem by the river!
Three Rivers Pitch & Paddle的点评
点评：We stayed in Suffolk in the summer of 2024, and came to visit Three Rivers to hire a boat on the River Waveney. We thought the site looked amazing and made a note to visit again but to stay.
Fast forward Juky 2025, and we’ve camped for 3 nights. We had an electric pitch, with plenty of space for a large 4 person tent with extended porch, a separate shelter for our kitchen, picnic bench (provided), car parked, fire pit (provided and paid extra for).
The site itself is lovely, great facilities, lovely location. We hired the mega paddle board and went on the river, then the next day we hired kayaks and travelled even further. Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Southwold all within easy reach as well. Mornings we did activities, afternoon day trips, evenings was dinner and fire pits.
On the Tuesday night there was a pizza vendor that was on site selling pizza from an old Fire Brigade van, which really added to the overall experience.
We have two young children, and they loved it. We saw lots of wildlife both nearby and onsite. Marsh harrier, barn owl, rabbits, fish galore, bats, swans, ducks.
We will definitely be coming back again.
