Brilliantly themed rooms with enough entertainment and challenges for all ages. A great experience!
Darkmaster Escape Rooms的点评
点评：Our group was by no means an expert one when it comes to escape rooms, with only 3 or 4 under our belt, so we opted for the "Into the Reliquary room as it promised more physical challenges and searching than difficult puzzles and we were not disappointed!
The theming of the corridors leading up to the rooms is good enough but the room itself was brilliant, and very much in the spirit of the "Aztec Zone of the Crystal Maze". The puzzles themselves were fairly challenging but not too much that they were off-putting and our main issues were not searching hard enough for clues. The range was good, with symbolic puzzles as well as semi-linguistic ones.
The disclaimer mentions bringing a change of clothes but only 1 (or in our case 2) people stand a chance of getting wet although we all went out with a bit of sand in our shoes! The extra spaces made the room feel more expansive and there's even a little surprise if you don't get the final puzzle right (the host gleefully showed this to us after we finished the game on the first try and we kind of wish we'd got it wrong, so if you've got enough time left on the clock, I'd suggest you play it dumb at first!).
This isn't one of the cheaper escape rooms but it's worth the extra pounds for the experience and the quality of theming. Parking is limited, so car sharing is useful. The venue is easy to find with a SatNav and it's close enough to both Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells to offer somewhere else to go, maybe for a well-earned bite to eat afterwards.
The host was friendly and enthusiastic and the overall experience was one that we can't wait to repeat, already eyeing up some of the more difficult rooms for next time. With a few hints needed, we managed to find the relic with under 2 minutes to spare, so we left with some dignity too. There are also a couple of small puzzles in the reception, to warm you up while you wait, and a selection of snacks to fuel your mind.
