Darkmaster Escape Rooms的点评
点评：We'd seen some glowing reviews about Dark Master, so we were keen to try them out.
ONE WING:
After a thorough health and safety briefing, our host led us to our flight, where we took our seats in an actual plane fuselage. The theming was faultless. The cabin even rocked (quite dramatically) during turbulence! I also appreciated that the clue system was the airplane phone, which felt perfectly on-theme. The room was filled with airplane paraphernalia, such as socks, an inflight magazine, a life jacket, and a snake — all the usual essentials. While the abundance of props added to the immersion, it did make it harder to distinguish what was useful from what was purely decorative.
We were a little slow to take off with the first puzzle and needed a couple of clues to point us in the right direction. There were some genuinely strong individual puzzles, but the overall puzzle flow was occasionally a bit turbulent. Several items collected in the first room were needed in the second, which is a fun way to link spaces but also felt slightly overwhelming or tedious at times. We just managed to escape without crashing the plane. Overall, we had a great flight and are keen to book another Dark Master room soon!

INTO THE RELIQUARY
On our return to Dark Master, the friendly host, Fin, remembered us from a previous visit and gave us a shorter briefing, which was a nice touch. After we finished he even took the time to walk us back through the room to highlight any cool moments we’d missed and discuss all the puzzles at length. Top hosting!
Into The Reliquary is a tomb raiding adventure where our goal was to locate an ancient relic. Stepping inside was a true wow moment: sand underfoot, lush foliage, and even a working water feature. The set design was top-notch, making us feel like true Indiana Jones style explorers. The clever use of space revealed secret sections, keeping the immersion alive.
The puzzles leaned toward search-heavy tasks and some logic challenges. The puzzles fit the theme nicely with a particularly satisfying ancient symbol translation task. While not the most challenging room for seasoned enthusiasts, it’s a great fit for those with a few rooms under their belt. The finale came quickly (perhaps too quickly) so make sure you take your time to enjoy every feature. In short, we had a great time with Into The Reliquary and for the water feature alone we would 100% recommend it!

STATION 108
Finally, we checked out their Arctic-themed Station 108. This time we had to stop a nuclear disaster so no pressure there! The hosting was efficient, though a bit more reserved this time.
As the door opened, we stepped into a snowy tundra, complete with immersive wind and set design that took our breath away yet again. The first half focused on survival in the cold, while the second shifted into a nuclear bunker scenario. This transition felt a little disjointed, and the use of comic video clips didn't fit the tense, apocalyptic tone that had been built up in the first half.
Again the puzzles mostly worked really well with the theme of the room. However, some puzzle flow felt clunky, with a bit of guesswork in combining elements. The latter puzzles leaned more on following instructions than on inventive problem-solving. We also had a small tech hiccup that required the host to enter a quickly fix.
At 90 minutes, it’s a long adventure. We’d recommend it for players who enjoy immersive set design and don’t mind a bit of searching. It’s not ideal for absolute beginners, but if you’re up for some cool (literally!) exploration, Station 108 will take you on a journey.

《Into The Reliquary》是一款寻宝冒险游戏，我们的目标就是找到一件古老的遗物。一踏入游戏场景便让人惊呼不已：脚下是沙子，四周绿植繁茂，甚至还有可流动的水流。场景设计堪称一流，让我们仿佛化身印第安纳·琼斯式的探险家一般。对空间的巧妙运用揭示出了隐藏区域，从而持续维持着玩家的沉浸感。
谜题类型多以寻找物品为主，也包含一些逻辑挑战。这些谜题与主题配合得恰到好处，其中古符号翻译环节尤其令人满足。虽说对于经验丰富的玩家来说这不算最具挑战性的密室，但对于已经玩过几间密室的新手而言则再合适不过。结局来得较快（或许有些太快了），因此务必慢慢享受每一个细节吧。总而言之……我们玩《Into The Reliquary》时玩得非常开心，单是其中的水上场景就值得我们全力推荐！

最后，我们体验了以北极为主题的108号站。这次我们的任务是阻止核灾难发生，倒也没什么压力啦！主持流程相当高效，不过这次显得稍微拘谨了一些。
门一打开，我们便置身于一片白雪覆盖的荒原之中——逼真的风效与布景设计再次让我们惊叹不已。前半部分主要围绕在寒冷环境中的生存挑战，而后半部分则转入了核掩体场景。这种过渡略显生硬，而且使用漫画风格的视频片段也不符合前半部分所营造出的紧张、末日般的氛围。
同样，大多数谜题都能很好地契合房间的主题。不过，部分谜题的流程显得有些生硬，需要玩家靠猜测来组合各种元素以解开谜题。这些谜题更多侧重于遵循指示，而非考验玩家的创造力与问题解决能力。过程中还出现了一个小技术故障，需要主持人迅速进行修复。
整个冒险过程长达90分钟。我们推荐给那些喜欢沉浸式场景设计、且不介意花时间四处探索的玩家。对于完全的新手来说可能不太合适，但如果你渴望一场酷炫（字面意义上的“酷”！）的探险，Station 108绝对能带给你一段难忘的旅程。
