点评：This is one of the four main stops for the Cradle Mountain shuttle for those planning to hike within the national park. It is the official trailhead for the famous Overland Track down to Lake St. Clair. This is also where you can begin numerous other short and full day hikes within the national park. Note there seem to always be a couple wombats in the field across from the carpark. You can see them fairly well from the boardwalk that crosses the field.
We used the Ronny Creek stop several times during our recent visit to Cradle Mountain National Park doing short walks around Weindorfers Chalet. We also did the Cradle Valley boardwalk between Ronny Creek and Snake Hill where there is another shuttle drop-off and pick-up. Alas, this was the starting point for our longer hike beside Crater Lake and up to Marrion's Lookout. From there we hiked back down to Dove Lake and jumped back on the shuttle at Dove Lake, passing Ronny Creek carpark on the way back to the Visitor Centre.
