Pommery, What the **** happened to you?

点评：I came here with my parents more than 50 years ago as a little boy. I remember being mesmerised by the countless bottles, the cold dark tunnels as merge workers actively turning the bottles while we watched. Invdn attemptvto recreate that magical experience I came back to Pommery with my wife.
2 things before continuing:
a) The Pommery Champaign is magnificent
2) Our guide Maria did a phenonomal job marshalling a diverse group including those who weren’t English speakers and those who conyinually asked irrelevant questions,
These Teo things apart, we were initially guided through a very tacky museum before being led down to the cellars. However the majesty which zi had remembered was no longer there. Instead the cellars were full of so called “art installations” which detracted from the experience. I have attached an example photograph.
Tasting at the end was nice but really I’d have preferred to just go this and ignore the Disneyfied cellar tour.
All in all, very disappointing.
