The ‘pearl’ of our trip 🦪🤩

点评：When we discovered that our cruise ship was stopping in Cozumel, we decided to look for a ‘different’ type of tour.The Cozumel Pearl Farm immediately peaked my interest. We loved that it was a family run business and that it took us away from all the tourists. Boy did it ever.
Booking was easy and they sent us a ‘pin’ to find the location of their boat. The boat ride was a wonderful way to see the coastline to the north. When we arrived at our deserted beach, we were offered a beverage and fresh fruit while Pancho explained their story and the process that they go through to create their pearls. We then had a tour of their lab then off we went to tour the ocean location via ‘speed snorkeling’. It was a fun, efficient way to tour the ocean site. Jerry, our boat captain and chef extraordinaire, prepared delicious burgers with grilled pineapple and zucchini upon our return. We decorated a conch shell to leave behind to commemorate our visit. We were delighted to purchase a beautiful pearl necklace to remember this special day. They were very conscious about our ship’s departure time and got us back with time to spare.
