点评：There's only one competitor for the Perhantian island(s)... and that is the Tioman island... both off the east coast into the South China sea. Perhantian has two islands, one big (besar) and another small (kecil). Both of them have something to offer... the besar has most of the resorts and peaceful than the kecil. However, if you wish to enjoy beach activities and night life the kecil offers that all along its long beach. Also there are cheaper options of food and accomodation as compared to besar. Although there's Marriott on the west side of kecil with private beach.
Wherever you may decide to stay, once you're in Perhantian your main activities will be snorkeling and diving... and you'll be out in the sea for the good part of you stay. A variety of marine life can be encountered: sea turtles (both green and hawksbill), black tip reef shark, huge school of vibrant fishes (parrot fish, clown fish, butterfly fish), manta rays and colourful coral colonies. And the best part is you get to see these all around the shallow waters surrounding the island.
Inspite of all the tourists crowding in Perhantian, they have managed to keep the tourism sustainable and eco friendly as much as possible.
And one will never get tired to watch the various shades of blue and green and the beautiful shades in between.
