A Memorable First Kayaking Adventure with an Amazing Guide!

点评：My boyfriend and I went kayaking for the first time Sunday morning, and it was an unforgettable experience! We had the pleasure of being guided by Carrie, who was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to explain the basics of kayaking and made sure we felt comfortable and confident before hitting the water. Carrie’s knowledge of the area around the JFK Causeway Bridge was impressive—she told us all about the local wildlife, ecosystems, and even different routes we could explore based on the weather conditions.
Although the weather was a bit windy, Carrie was very aware of the conditions and adjusted our route accordingly. One of the highlights was bird watching—Carrie had binoculars on hand, so we were able to spot a variety of birds out in the bay. She also showed us how to cast a net to catch fish, which she provided! It was such a fun addition to the experience.
On our journey to one of the nearby islands, we even stumbled upon a dolphin skull, which felt like an exciting and unexpected bonus to our adventure. Carrie made the entire tour feel like a fun learning experience—from the kayaking basics to discovering sea creatures in the bay.
If you're considering a kayaking trip, I highly recommend this tour! The only thing I would suggest is to aim for a less windy day if possible, as the breeze did add a little challenge. But overall, it was a fantastic experience that I wouldn't hesitate to do again. Highly recommend!
