点评:People need to distinguish between Ragusa and Ragusa Ibla. Ragusa is a modern italian city with no real historical or distinguishing features. Ragusa Ibla is the old Ragusa city which was destroyed by an earthquake in the 1700s and rebuilt in the then prevailing baroque style. It has 18 unesco world heritage sites and is worth a day wandering around the city. Ibla is perched on a hill top so lots of hills and stairs to climb. You can take a mini carriage tour from the central square in front of the duomo (5 euros) and it takes you past all the important sights. The town is nice and picturesque but not anything outstanding. Noto and Scicli are similar baroque cities ( also destroyed and rebuilt in the same period) which provide a look into the Sicilian baroque architecture style. They could be alternatives if you are time restricted
