点评:I was visiting Epernay with family, and on this particular day we decided to explore Avenue de Champagne and stop by some of the champagne houses. Prior to this trip, I had recently gone through a traumatic hospital procedure which I will not add details for but it meant that I needed to access a bathroom probably more regularly than the average person. In a moment of panic, I ran to the closest bathroom to me, being Les 3 Domaines, and as I was not a paying customer with no reservation, was shooed out of the place like an animal. I get it - it is not a public w/c and perhaps is only for customer use. HOWEVER, is it really necessary for the staff to treat anyone with outright rudeness in this situation, as opposed to POLITELY informing them that the bathroom is for customers only? I’m also quite sure that how the staff reacted in this situation, is probably a true reflection of their character.
I’m sure if you’ve booked a table here, you are treated differently. At the time of this situation, we were only just starting our day and if I was treated differently here, with even the slightest ounce of courtesy, there would have been nothing stopping us from returning later on as paying customers. I never do this, but feel it is necessary to call out the hostility of the staff, when a more graceful reaction would have gone much further as you never know what someone else is either going through, or been through.
