We love Bluestone, our second summer staying in a cabin here.

点评：Last week was our family's second time staying in Bluestone park, Cabin 24. We chose Bluestone for our family vacation last year, and liked it enough to do the same this year. There's a good chance we'll be back next year too! That probably tells you all you need to know.
This is a more basic nature oriented park, so not a lot of adventure activities are provided for you really. It's just a nice cabin in the woods, and they've got an outdoor pool and the lake.
You're not very far from Pipestem resort park though, so you still have access to all sorts of stuff there. So basically we had a private cabin for relaxing evenings and mornings but all the adventure of Pipestem nearby too!
The cabins are nice but they're cabins so expect rustic. Linens provided were clean and there were enough. The kitchen has some basics but is not large or well stocked, at least not for this family of cooks. I just brought our box of camp cooking stuff to fill in any gaps in utensils and tools. I recommend planning very simple meals or bringing any required cooking tools with you so you're sure to have what you need.
Really our main complaint is we all felt the cabin could benefit from more places to put stuff. Like, a set of key hooks by the door for managing car and cabin keys. Maybe a clothes line under the eaves on the back porch to hang towels and bathing suits. That kind of thing. That's so minor though overall it was, well... Almost Heaven!
