点评：I cannot stress enough how amazing this experience was and it’s all because of the Pimentel family that owns the farm. First, this farm is one of the only organic farms in Azores. They treat their animals very well and I was surprised to know they name every single horse and cow!
Pedro and Bruno treated us to a spectacular horse ride where we experienced so many unforgettable moments. So that we could stay in the moment, Pedro took photos and videos of our group and he’s actually quite the photographer! The views from the cliffs on horseback are a once in a lifetime experience. Pedro and Bruno safely guided us through paths and roads, past cars and cows and when we returned we were treated to a delicious lunch overlooking the ocean. The food was prepared by the Pimentel family (Pedro’s mother and uncle) and no lie, it was the best food I’ve had on the Azores so far. The family was able to accommodate our gluten free and vegetarian guests and everything was local. They served us wine, water, cheeses, meats, salads, French fries, fruit for dessert, and anything we could ever need. They dined and talked with us, and their goal was for us to feel at home. After lunch, we headed over to milk one gorgeous cow and check out the other cows while they ate. We also saw the adorable babies and a calf that had been born only a few hours earlier.
They treated us and even our driver like family. On behalf of our driver, he also said they were very nice people and he stayed back with them for hours while we rode horses. You can vacation all over the world and take tours of all kinds of places and it’s not like this. They were all so kind and genuinely enjoyed teaching us about what they do.
