点评：We drove from Hoback Junction along US 189/191 to Rock Springs. This is simply a beautiful drive across wide open spaces and ranch land in Wyoming. Before the Interstates, US 191 was one of the longest North-South routes across the western United States, traveling from AZ and ending in Montana at the Canadian border. You'll find all types of countryside along the highway from the sagebrush rangelands of WY, to mountains and rivers further north. This is space to clear one's head and enjoy stunning roadside views. Pinedale itself has history going back to the early 1900's of cattle ranching, and some of the largest ranches and cattle operations there are still in existence. The elevation ranges at 7,000-ft. and above, and the alpine valley is lush and green from mid-May to July before the heat settles in. Wildlife is common and there are two wildlife bridges across 191 right near Pinedale.
