Our stay in Tirthan Valley was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by our time at Kudrat Homestay. The property is beautifully maintained, clean, and nestled amidst the serene beauty of the valley. We stayed in the stone house, and the view from the room—snow-capped mountains right outside our window—was simply breathtaking.
The owner, Sudhir, was incredibly helpful and cooperative throughout our stay. He personally arranged both of our treks:
A meadow trek to Sharchi village, which gave us a glimpse into the untouched beauty and lifestyle of the local Himachali culture.
And the Chhoie Waterfall trek, a peaceful walk through the forest leading to a cascading waterfall tucked away in the hills.
The food at Kudrat was outstanding—simple, homely, and full of flavor. The chefs truly know how to serve comfort on a plate. The staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
For those wanting to stay closer to the river, there are lovely riverside homestays nearby as well. But if you're looking for mountain views, peace, and a warm, welcoming vibe—Kudrat is the place to be.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting to unwind, explore, and be taken care of without having to plan much. Just reach Kudrat, and everything will fall into place.
