An excellent hour of climbing

点评：My son and I visited The Ordinary Climbers on Wednesday 29th August. I had never climbed before and was not sure what to expect. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and felt at ease. Our instructor was called Rocky and he was brilliant, he assisted us in to our harnesses and we started off on the small climbing wall just getting to grips with what we would be doing, he explained everything to us. Then it was on to the main climbing wall which in places was just 10 meters high. He showed us how to use the equipment and how to clip on to the safety lines. They have several self powered lowering pulleys which were great fun when you eventually got to the top let go and sailed down slowly back to ground. We climbed for approximately an hour and then finished off with an abseil agin from 10 meters. All the staff we spoke to were great but a special thank you must go to Rocky as we really had a great time climbing with him.
