Diddly Squat Farm Shop的点评
点评：We were on route back up north from London on a rainy Sunday so thought we'd head over thinking it may be the ideal time to go to Diddly Squat. Luckily we managed to get a space in the car park as someone was just leaving. The car park is not huge.
There was a decent sized queue so we went to the barn around the back and had some food. As we were at the tail end of brunch time we tried the sausage barm which was fantastic and as the menu flipped to lunch at 11.30 we had burgers and fries. The burger meat was superb. This was washed down with a beautiful pint of hawkstone premium lager. Ive had it in bottles but never draught, and it is much better draught.
After this we queued up for the shop and was inside in about 25 minutes. The shop is small but has many good things inside so we bought souvenirs and sausages and bacon. The meat prices were not too dear at all however we had eaten all of it withing 4 days and it was superb especially the pork and beer sausages. It is a pity I cannot find them online to order more.
All in all a great visit to the farm. Yes the car park has craters in it, yes it was muddy and yes there was a queue, but who cares. it's the experience of going that counts. Have booked into the Farmers Dog pub for dinner in January so looking forward to that and to buy more meat
