Navarino Speed Boats的点评
点评：Since 2007 we have spent a total of 315 weeks sailing the Med. We have many fond memories of places, food, wine and experiences. However, without question the strongest memories involve some of the most amazing people that we have met.
Yesterday was another example of human nature at it’s best. We are in Pilos, the tender outboard is low on petrol and the nearest gas station is 10km away. My wife went across to NS Boat Rentals to see if we could buy a couple of litres of petrol from them. Georgios not only filled our outboard but refused to take any money for the fuel. We had come ashore to pick up a guest and 3 people and a large bag was going to be a squeeze into the dinghy. Georgios offered to take our guest and bag out to our boat and once again refused to take any money.
In a world dominated by a media which consistently feeds us all the things wrong with humanity it is people like Georgios who remind us that there are also people who restore our faith in humanity.
Thanks Georgios; really appreciated – the fuel, the taxi ride and most of all your generosity!
