点评：LUXURIOUS LANKA was amazing from start to finish. I had researched several travel companies providing travel to Sri Lanka and compared different information they provided after ai emailed them and decided I wanted to go with Travel Local’s recommendation LUXURIOUS LANKA based on responsiveness their listening to my desires and their quoted prices.
When putting the trip together about five months before travel, I was connected with JAGATH my travel agent. We worked together in putting together a fabulous 12-day in-depth Sri Lankan tour for us based on our preferences. Everything was initially handled online, with quick responses to our questions and plenty of options to choose from. We especially appreciated that they used the TravelKey app, which allowed us to have our itinerary at hand even without internet access. This meant we didn’t have to search for papers, old emails, or saved documents. Each day, we could simply open the app, and it would show us the itinerary for that day, complete with all the information we needed about our destinations. You had a couple changes due to the fact that our flight days and times changed and that was not a problem. Additionally, we decided to ask if there was anything that would make our trip more spectacular JAGATH recommended a few choices and we made a change to include one of the best parts of our trip, Wild Coast Tented Safari Camp.
From the moment we landed in Colombo, we were treated like royalty, greeted with flowers, pink coconuts, and special Sri Lankan treats.
Our country guide and driver extraordinaire, Basill, was outstanding. He stayed with us throughout the trip, even when we took a six-hour train ride. He drove our luggage and met us at the other end. He also went the extra mile by letting us know in advance if a location didn’t serve wine and made sure to stop at an outlet so we could have some with our dinner. He always had water on hand and assured us that we could adjust the itinerary as needed.
We prefer staying in hotels that reflect the flavor of the country, and every accommodation Luxurious Lanka selected for us was amazing.
As active travelers, we enjoy going on at least two or three excursions each day, and Basill kept up with us effortlessly. In addition to this, he handled tasks like securing tickets, arranging skip-the-line access, and ensuring we received preferential treatment whenever possible.
I highly recommend Luxurious Lanka to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka!
