点评：This is not the easiest place to visit but it is well worth the effort! This is where Henry Moore and his family lived after WWII began and he lived there the balance of his life. The site offers some wonderful opportunities to see Moore's monumental bronze sculptures in a lovely garden setting, a museum that houses his hand-carved, smaller pieces and drawings, and -- my favorite -- a restored barn that holds MAGNIFICENT tapestries based on some of his drawings. We also participated in an optional tour of his home, which was fascinating and informative. If you do not have a car, you will have to take a train to a small town nearby and then hope in a cab to the site. By the way, do not miss the having lunch at the wonderful inn, which is a stone's throw from the gardens. This was a magical place and a magical day.
