点评：Lovely gardens but overpriced food. On entering the gardens you walk a short distance to a building and wait to be seated. I ordered a smoked salmon and cream cheese roll with salad. Priced at £9.50, I thought it would be more than a dry roll with a smudge of cream cheese and a slice of smoked salmon. The salad was a garnish and tiny to say the least. Drinks and cakes seemed to be fairly priced. I spoke with the owner and said I thought the price for my roll was too much for what it was and had I seen an example beforehand, I would never have asked for it. She told me she likes to price food based on other food outlets in the area but cafes in this area are few and far between. I understand food prices are higher than ever, but I felt in this case it wasn't value for money. However, the £5 charge for the gardens was reasonable and there were some unusual plants to be seen. Top tip: take a packed lunch to this venue.
