Caught our dinner, had a lot of fun

点评：Me and my girlfriend went deep fjord fishing with Mons after asking to go looking for fish we could cook out dinner with. So we went fishing for seapike and ling at about 240m depth.
There was a lot of fish down there, we had plenty of nibbles and some near misses and we had a great time, despite "only" catching one ling. It was big enough to feed us for two dinners!
The boat was well equipped with a 100hp motor, an anchor lock electric motor (to keep position in the current) and a fish finding sonar.
Mons was super friendly and relaxed and was a great fishing guide. He filleted our fish on the pier, and explained to us how he did it so we could learn.
He also vacuum sealed the fillets at the local restaurant and gave us some tips on preparing it. I cooked the ling for dinner and it was a delicious end to a great day.
Mons also gifted us some of the hake they caught earlier and had smoked as an experiment. I just had some for breakfast and it was very good. Smoky on the outside, but more delicate and fatty on the inside. I'd say the experiment was a success!
TLDR: go fishing with these guys.
