An Authentic and Unforgettable Experience

点评：During our trip to Budapest, we had planned this wine tasting well in advance at a beautiful winery in Szentendre, a charming town located about 30 minutes from the Hungarian capital. We can honestly say that it exceeded all our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt at ease thanks to Janos’s warm welcome. He made us feel like guests in his home rather than mere visitors. The winery itself is truly beautiful, carefully maintained, and full of character—the perfect setting for an authentic experience.
The tasting included six different wines, accompanied by an excellent platter of traditional cured meats and local cheeses, perfectly paired with the wines served. We enjoyed every single tasting, but the wine that won us over more than any other was the orange wine: a true discovery—unique, surprising, and absolutely delicious.
A special thank you also goes to the young Italian-Hungarian student who provided simultaneous translation of Janos’s explanations. He did so with remarkable professionalism, accuracy, and ease, managing to convey even the more technical aspects of the tasting perfectly while making us feel constantly involved and comfortable.
We greatly appreciated not only the quality of the wines but also the passion and expertise with which they were presented to us. It was an experience that we will always cherish as one of the most wonderful memories of our trip to Budapest.
