点评:We had a delightful time here and we absolutely recommend it if you're in the area (Melidoni Cave, Reptisland...).
We simply walked up and were immediately greeted. It wasn't crowded, which was good because the space inside was tight. We were offered the option to either explore and read the signage on our own, or go on the 20-25 min guided tour. We picked the latter, and I really believe this is the way to go. The guide provided much more information than what was on the displays. In fact, I became so intrigued by the new bee facts that, once back at our hotel, I ended up reading more about the topic.
The tour ended with a tasting session of various types of honey. The differences in taste were fascinating. Both the tour and the honey tasting were free (!) so buying something seemed like a natural way to show our appreciation, though the products were so enticing that we would have made a purchase anyway. We walked away with honey made from orange blossom, and a honey-based praline spread that was absolutely delicious. They also had cute tasting sets that would make wonderful gifts for those back home who weren't lucky enough to experience this in person.
