Enjoy the hiking, they lug the gear!

点评：Had an excellent time!! 2 couples in our mid-60’s had the perfect time hiking and camping and Matt and his crew made it easy. The “backpacking light” trip was just right for us. We did the hiking and carried a small bag with our clothes , jacket and snacks, and the guide and porters carried our food, tents, chairs and sleeping bags. We hiked at our pace, with Matt very willing to make accommodations or stop pointing out interesting things along the way, and the porters ran on ahead to set things up. Then we pull into camp and can just relax and snack- while the guides cooked our meal. Our tents and sleeping bags were already ready!! They even carried our wine! The food was fresh and tasty, not just freeze dried. We had beef fajitas with fresh veggies, pasta with meat and tomatoes, a crunchy chicken wrap , and then a meat and cheese charcutterie board for our final lunch. We were never hungry.
When we were done they cleaned everything up and put everything away. Matt was flexible , hiking as fast or as slow as we wanted. Same with what time to leave in the morning- leave early or late, up to us. Want to stop and take photos- Sure! We can stop at this lake and put our feet in (or swim) to cool off. It was not regimented at all. They knew all the best spots to stop, and the scenery all over was just breathtaking. It was nice to just enjoy being outside and active, and let someone else worry about the details and logistics. I recommend this company and this hike.
