Worst dinner of my life — but good enough for street cats.

点评：I don’t ever recall writing a review before, but feel I need to for the good of the traveler community.
Please avoid this restaurant at all costs.
We wasted our Christmas dinner here.
Our tour guide took us past here and recommended it for our holiday dinner.
The restaurant had a fixed menu for Christmas. We should have known we were in trouble when they let us pick our table (at 10am!) and then asked for a $40 deposit and for us to bring cash when we came back.
Suffice to say, the food was so bad we wrapped it in Kleenex to clear our plates and fed it to the street cats. The appetizer was fish soup, and it literally smelled worse than the seafood market on a sunny afternoon.
And then when leaving, the manager tried to overcharge us for an extra class of wine— which we didn’t have. Finally, he had the audacity to ask for a tip for the server . . . We should have handed him his wrapped up “cat food” back.
So . . . We didn’t read the reviews because we trusted our tour guide. And, if you’ve been conned into any of the carpet cooperatives in Fez or Marrakech, you’ll understand why you need to be wary of tour guide suggestions.
However, avoid this place at all costs. I’m 99% sure I’ll be at the general store for anti-diarrheal medicine in 6 hours.
