点评：WOW! just wow, this is a must do, the scenery is too beautiful for words, there's so much to see, there's loads of sheep, saw lots of huge birds, red kites, eagles to name a few, the road itself, is a nice drive, just take your time, if driving, the road condition is pretty poor in spots, it gets pretty narrow with tight corners, and cattle grids so go slow, there's not alot of traffic it's pretty quiet, just be careful, especially with the sheep, they will be on the road or close by. Slow down and enjoy the experience that is mennock pass
I discovered this by sheer accident and I've driven there a few times now, if you stop at the open flat bit, by the river, there's usually campers here, but it's worth to go for a wander here, if you head up a small hill to the old round house, the views from here are amazing,
I can't recommend this place enough, I go from wanlockhead to Sanquhar, the drive is worth it, I would never get board of mennock pass, and please take your rubbish with you, don't spoil it for others, or the wild life,
The thing I love is the complete silence besides a few random cars and motorbikes, it's silent, there's not many chances in modern life, to be in complete silence but you can here.
