I am Ethiopian and have been away from my country for many years. I came back to visit with my American friends. To be back and witness this amazing nature made me realize that Ethiopia is the most beautiful country, with abundant nature and a rich and diverse culture.
Awel Sultan loves his work. He is a very kind person, very attentive, and has respect for the environment. We discussed a major issue, which is that plastic trash is thrown everywhere and should be discussed among officials of the Tourism Commission. How to clean and recycle plastic bottles. Also to educate the younger generation not to throw trash everywhere.
We need more people like him, not only as tour guides but also to protect and preserve the beautiful land we have. Together, we can make a small step and a big difference!
