A very relaxing, fulfilling half day spent wandering among the animals

点评：We really loved our time spent wandering the vast grounds. I especially loved that the animals' enclosures were very large and spacious, true to nature with lots of plants etc for them to feel at home. We've been to several conservatories on our trip, and while this one is the most "rustic" from a people point of view, I felt it was by far the better from the point of view of the animals' lives and ability to roam freely.
True as some have said, the fences and boards could use a facelift, but I feel the animals are more important, and they look well cared for.
I also loved that we didn't need to be on a guided tour, but were free to wander as long as we liked. We arrived at opening time, and meandered at our leisure for 3.5 hrs without having to jockey for position within a group tour.
The only small item I would add for improvement, is that some enclosures are either missing their information plaque, or it's not very prominent, which lead to some confusion as to what we were looking for.
