Two unforgettable weeks across Kenya with Evergreen Escape

点评：Hands down one of the best trips we've ever taken. Evergreen Escape gave us two weeks in Kenya that we'll be talking about for years, and what made it special wasn't just the wildlife, it was the balance. This wasn't safari after safari on a conveyor belt. It was world-class game viewing woven together with real encounters with everyday Kenyan life.
Our driver and guide for the whole trip was Jeff, who was fantastic. He drove us across every kind of terrain Kenya could throw at us, from highways and the busy streets of Nairobi to dust, mud, river crossings, and steep rural tracks, and we always felt safe with him. He clearly knew the country and its wildlife inside out. We saw the entire Big Five, watched hunts unfold out on the plains, and because we're keen birdwatchers, he happily stopped whenever something caught our eye. He also went to great lengths on the very last day to track down eland, the one animal we were still missing, and got them for us. On top of that, he was great company throughout, always smiling and in good spirits, which counts for a lot over two weeks on the road.
The safari itself was everything you'd hope for, with the plains full of life from the big cats down to the birds. But the parts that have stayed with us most were the visits connected to Carsten's NGO, which gave us a window into how people actually live and a sense that the trip was giving something back rather than just passing through.
The whole thing was organised so smoothly that we never had to worry about logistics. And the program itself was beautifully conceived, packed with one jaw-dropping moment after another while still leaving time for serene breaks, thanks to the creativity and diligence of Carsten and Vicky. If you want a Kenya trip that combines world-class wildlife with something more meaningful, we can't recommend Evergreen Escape highly enough, and with Jeff is your guide, you're in very good hands.
