Unacceptable behaviour by a member of staff

点评：My son and I along with my two friends and their children attended Fun Arena on Saturday to celebrate two of their birthdays. Between us we spent over £100 to take our children here.
We brought along a cake and some candles to celebrate the children's birthdays.
Unbeknown to us we didn't know that we weren't allowed to bring a cake and light the candles without letting you know first.
One of the members of staff came charging over to us in the downstairs cafe whilst we had the cake lit. She was really rude to us and told us that we weren't allowed to light the cake without letting them know first. Her attitude and behaviour towards us was really appalling and the way she said this to us was unacceptable. My son heard how she spoke to me and became really upset and wanted me to take him home. I understand there are rules and they need to be followed. But the way she told us about this was unacceptable and not necessary. It could've been said in a much nicer way.
I'm not prepared to visit again and have my son or his friends upset by this member of staff. I will also be letting my friends and family know about this experience as I wouldn't want them to be spoken to the way we were.
I spoke to a supervisor about this on Saturday and she couldn't apologise enough for the way her colleague spoke to us. I didn't catch the supervisors name or the colleague that was rude to us.
I sincerely hope no one else is spoken to the way we were.
This event spoilt what was supposed to be an enjoyable birthday celebration and I won't be putting my son in this situation again where he had to witness his Mum being spoken to like this.
