Namibia Tours & Safaris的点评
点评：ATI Holidays had planned our privately guided 12 days, trip for two, in Namibia. The guide and vehicle were arranged by ATI, through Namibia Tours & Safaris.
While I will review the trip itself on the ATI page, this review is specifically for Augustinus Gawiseb (Augie) who started out as our guide and ended up as our teacher and friend. Augie was more than willing to start out each day bright and early and mesmerise us with the beauty of Namibia. Long days, quick lunches, Augie took everything in his stride (flat tires included), so as to allow us to get the best out of our trip. His knowledge of the flora, fauna, geology and history of Namibia made the long drives so much more fun. He was always willing to stop for photographs and adjust the vehicle (very much required in Etosha), till I got the perfect shot. We were actually able to see and take a video of a lion kill due to his patience and willingness to stay on the spot, for over an hour, while the lions stalked their prey.
While we had also booked some specific tours through the hotels/camps, Augie always made sure that we were picked up on time and communicated our interests/requirements to these tour operators. Undoubtedly our Namibia holiday was so much more enhanced by having Augie with us. Thank you Augie, for making our Namibia trip exceed our expectations.
