Fabulous visit - very informative
Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Center的点评
点评：What a pleasant surprise. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly woman whom I wished I got her name. She took the time to take us around the facility. I loved that all the tortoises/turtles had painted stones with their name and age on them. She knew all about their history. They have all been donated to the facility by people who can no longer care for their “pets “. I couldn’t believe one of them was 52 years old. You could tell they are well loved and cared for. She also shared a lot of information about their role in the sea turtle nesting between May and October. Lots of great information on how to help protect their environment.
There is no charge but donations are gladly accepted. They also have a gift shop where purchases go to support their efforts.
Definitely worth a stop.
