Cheerful but not entirely helpful
Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre的点评
点评：The staff I spoke with on the phone were very cheerful, friendly and mostly helpful, however there was one shortcoming which proved to be quite significant.
I called earlier this week to enquire best routes of public transport from Saffron Walden to Cambridge during the time I am due to be staying at the Saffron hotel. The staff member I spoke with was very informative and helpful, I was feeling all set for my trip to Cambridge!
The problem arose today when I discovered that the Saffron Hotel is closed and has been for at least a month, tourist information were aware of this as I rang them today to confirm this information and was told this has been a problem for a number of visitors.
So I am left feeling rather miffed that when I called earlier this week and mentioned I would be staying at the Saffron, I was not made aware of the upcoming predicament I was sure to find myself in today.
