Muzeum Obetí Komunizmu的点评
点评：Cool little museum tucked away from the main square; but entirely worth a visit. Staff spoke flawless English and were very helpful in setting up the audio guide using your own phone and their headphones.
Essentially this is a self guide tour around the information stations but you can start and stop the narration as you like, and the personal testimonies were very powerful.
Covers the period of Slovakia under communism from the Soviet occupation at the end of the WW2 right up to the 1989 fall of the iron curtain
It’s done with a particular slant on the eastern side of Slovakia/Czechoslovakia which is understandable given it’s in Košice. 70k people persecuted in some shape or form for having views that were not compatible with the regime.
I would say it’s an hour to 90 mins visit - we didn’t go the 2nd part which is more a library or catalogue of literature and memoirs from the time.
