Kanoni Causeway的点评
点评：There's not much to do in Kanoni, so I ventured across the causeway, which starts by the harbour and separates the sea and lagoon. There's not much at the other end, although the locals seemed to like the narrow crescent of bamboo and scrub that serves as a beach overlooking Mouse Island.
The causeway itself is only about 200m long but I took at least 15 minutes. Stopping to take photos of the planes landing on the adjacent airport runway, exotic birds and colourful boats on the lagoon or Vlacherna island passed the time.
Note that the surface is (when I visited) crumbling concrete so you need to watch your step. Mopeds also liked to use the causeway as a short cut so be prepared to sit on the raised bit of the causeway to let them slowly pass. It doesn't really matter. Relax, slow down, you're on holiday!
