Understated elegance!
Fjord Vineyards的点评
点评：We were told about this gem from the folks at nearby Nostrano Winery, where the winemaker said that we should NOT MISS Fjord Vineyards. I'm so glad we went!
The grounds were beautifully maintained... we sat outside at a cute table with an umbrella facing the beautiful rows of grapevines. Our waiter, John, was friendly, informative and just wonderfully likeable. We enjoyed some of the camembert, prosciutto, gouda and honey with a baguette, and did a flight of all of the wines. (John even threw in the Gamay, which wasn't on the tasting list, but he thought we'd enjoy it.) All of the wines were delicious... I am a sucker for Chardonnay and it didn't disappoint... the rosé was light and refreshing and the Riesling was dry and not overly sweet.
The whole experience screamed UNDERSTATED ELEGANCE. The glassware was real glass, and each of the tastes were in a small carafe. The music was light and jazzy, we even Shazam'd a few of the songs. The tables were spaced far apart enough that we didn't have to listen to anyone's conversations... just each other. It was extremely tranquil and peaceful. I think we must have spent two hours there sipping various wines and nibbling on our cheese plate.
I wouldn't change a thing about the experience. Utterly perfect in every way.
