Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary的点评
点评：A most lovely home for donkeys. They had lots of space both outdoor and sheltered. The donkeys can choose to be close to visitors or away in private. Some of the donkeys were happy to come over for a fuss. The owner is totally dedicated to the donkey’s welfare, and this is reflected in every aspect of the sanctuary. When we visited there was a lovely 8-week-old donkey who was just delightful. The sanctuary is staffed by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. Also, you can by drinks and home-made cakes in the coffee shop and souvenirs in a small gift shop. As well as the donkeys there were lots of other creature who visit, including ducks, swallows and corvids making this quite a little nature oasis on the island. Places like this give something back to the animal kingdom that we so severely abuse. An absolute gem of a place.
