Breathtaking! Absolutely stunning!

点评：Hubby and I visited as part of a West coast road trip. This place is not to be missed.
The drive from Porto to Braga was smooth wuth very little traffic.
Serenity at its best! The autumn colours, the clear views for miles, the mountains and villages were all beautiful but the best part of the trip was driving up the windy road to the top of the mountain!
Never has a view taken my breath away as much as this place! The architecture is beautiful with stunning, well looked after gardens, churches, viewing areas and the ultimate wow factor, the view from the bottom of the steps looking back up at the awesome design of the path towards the main building! What a sight!
We enjoyed a glass of wine and cheese board in the cafe restaurant. Met Machado, the friendliest person on site! He’s an artist who has been given an opportunity to sell some of his work in the bar area. His designs vary and may not suit everyone’s taste but, spend some time chatting to him, he’s a lovely guy.
Large plate of cheese (2 flavours) walnuts and raisin, 2 glasses of wine and a beer came to € 22. Not bad given the location!
I’m at a loss for words with this place as I believe it’s important to have the element of surprise with somewhere this beautiful.
Take your time, don’t rush the visit.
I can imagine in the height of summer, with lots of visitors it would be enjoyable but may not bring the element of peace.
An amazing place to meditate and be at one with nature.
We would definitely recommend and we will certainly revisit if we’re ever back on the west coast:

一大盘奶酪（两种口味）、核桃和葡萄干，两杯葡萄酒和一杯啤酒，一共才22欧元。考虑到地理位置，这价格还算不错！
这个地方美得让我不知该如何形容，因为我觉得在如此美丽的地方，保持一份惊喜感至关重要。
慢慢来，别着急。
我能想象，盛夏时节，游客众多，这里或许会很热闹，但可能就无法享受这份宁静了。
这里是冥想和与自然融为一体的绝佳之地。
我们强烈推荐这里，如果以后有机会再去西海岸，一定会再次光顾。
